Zartman Construction built a penthouse which houses a silo and a bucket elevator with conveyors. The process also involved the installation of equipment at the factory.
The penthouse is about 27 feet by 30 feet by 69 feet tall and was set 200 feet back from the edge of the existing building. The penthouse was built to fit the equipment exactly, leaving almost no extra space inside.
The $500,000 project was completed in five phases and involved minimal production shutdowns. Modification and demolition of existing equipment and structure was required before the new equipment and structure could be added.
