Furmano Foods -Mezzanine

Zartman Construction fabricated and installed a stainless steel mezzanine and placed stainless steel tanks on the new structure.
A special stainless structural steel tube 10”x24”x63’ in length was fabricated. The 63 foot girder supports the majority of the mezzanine for improved floor space. The girder was sectioned to access the building, then specialty jigged together to maintain specification as the full penetration welds were performed on the final site location.
Seven stainless tanks were then set atop with a stainless deck and seal welded.
This project increased the plant footprint for additional equipment and product capacity.
