Milton Wastewater Treatment Plant

Zartman Construction was part of the team who built the nation’s first wastewater to energy plant.
Zartman furnished and installed formwork, rebar and concrete for the building foundations of the $64.5 million project.
The plant is the first to use anaerobic treatment, which produces methane gas. The methane gas is then sent to a digester which produces electricity.
